Ky wasn't so sure about the beach. After we picked up a bucket and shovel he was a little more okay with the sand, but spent most of his time running away from us and back up onto the sidewalk. I think he actually got in the water twice, because I picked him up and put him in. He then quickly started crying and would run as far away from the water as possible after I let him go. He really is just like his daddy.
