Ky's bday

I figured since I've been a horrible blogger, AND it's almost Ian's bday, I should at least get Ky's posted.  We ended up with 7 little boys and one little girl and a couple bigger girls, and man, did they wear me out!  We had a water party, played some games, then let them throw water balloons at each other.  I spent about an hour filling up balloons, they spent about 3 min throwing them.  They had a great time though.

After the water games, we opened presents and ate cake, then they just got to play for a little while. 

For his cake, we made little people tubing on the water.  I think they turned out cute and Ky loved them.

A few notes about Ky at 4:

He still loves anything with wheels and/or a motor.  He wants to be a "driver" when he grows up, race cars, garbage trucks, rocket ships, all at the same time (this list changes regularly, but it's always 3-4 options).

He LOVES music, that kid will sing and dance for hours, even though half of the words are more mumbling then anything.  Playing musical instruments is always high on his list.  He also finishes off all his shows with "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!"  while bowing.

He loves computer games and all things video game related.  His happiest place to be is sitting next to daddy with a controller in his hand.  Especially if it's a racing game.

He may have started talking late, but his vocabulary is insane.  He talks better then most teenagers, for example, as we were driving past the windmills on the way to California, he stated "Those fans work well mom!"  Seriously, what 4 year old talks like that?

He is our problem solver.  Nothing deters Ky from his goal.  He managed to knock things off the very top of my cabinets and there is no closet shelf safe from that kid anymore.  Also, if it isn't his goal, good luck getting him to do it.

We have dubbed him the saying "Ky, making people feel good since 2006".  He just LOVES people and will give anyone hugs.  He tells me multiple times a day that he loves me and it just melts my heart.  He's also great at compliments, I've been informed I'm "Beautiful and a genius" on more than one occasion, and he's always glad to make someone feel good.

His favorite color is orange, and has been for at least a year (pretty much since he learned the name for it).

And lastly, he feels it is important for everyone to own a sword to "fight the zombies with like daddy." (They love telling jokes and our current family fav is "Why did the zombie cross the road?"  And the boys respond with "HE WAS RUNNING AWAY FROM DADDY!" as loud as they can.)

We love you Ky, life just wouldn't be the same without you.
